Kenny Rich earned his MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, and is a veteran of fiction workshops. He worked with Dorothy Allison at the Tin House Summer workshop. He taught writing for women inmates in a NY State Correctional Facility and won a Fellowship with the Teachers College at Columbia University in the Reading and Writing Project. He has taught writing at several colleges, fiction workshops at Write on the Sound (WOTS) and was the guest judge for the 2015 WOTS Fiction contest. Kenny also led a Study Abroad Quarter in Prague.Born and raised in Seattle, he currently lives on the wrong coast in the wrong Washington with his husband and 3.5-legged wonder dog who sports a prosthetic leg.
